An AI voice assistant is not a replacement for reception. It answers the calls that follow a pattern — opening hours, where you are, booking a visit, whether a service is available — including outside office hours, so people are not left listening to a ring tone.
When voice is the right channel
Choose an AI voice assistant when customers already phone you and a large share of those calls are the same few questions. A chatbot on the website does not help someone who never opens the site. Voice meets them on the call they were going to make.
Voice is a weaker fit when every call is a negotiation, a complaint or a fault that needs a person from the first sentence. In that case, use it only to capture the details and route the call to the right colleague.
Build it from your call flow
A generic demo sounds fluent and then fails on the second real question. A custom AI voice assistant should follow the way your team already handles a call.
- How you greet the caller, in Arabic, English, or both.
- The questions you ask before you can help.
- The answers that are safe to give without a person.
- The moment the call must be transferred, and to whom.
Keep voice and chat on the same facts
If the website says one thing and the phone says another, people stop trusting both. Use one approved set of answers for chat and for the AI voice assistant. When a price, a service area or a policy changes, it should change in one place and show up on every channel.
Watch the calls it could not finish
After launch, look at how many calls were completed without a transfer, how many were handed to a person, and which questions had no approved answer. Those gaps are the next replies to add. They tell you more than a score on a dashboard.
What we need from you
A short discovery is enough to see whether an AI voice assistant is worth building: a sample of real call reasons, the answers you are willing to automate, your working hours, and how a handover should work. We then build the assistant around that brief and connect it to chat where the same answers belong.
You can read how we scope both channels on our AI voice and chatbots page, or tell us what your callers ask and we will say honestly whether voice, chat, or both is the right place to start.
